Senior Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking daily tasks in Xero cloud accounting system
  • Sending client expense invoices to ReceiptBank for electronic processing
  • Processing of invoices from ReceiptBank into Xero
  • Preparation of expense pay runs, including provision of bank ABA file
  • Processing of unreconciled bank transactions to the general ledger
  • Raising client sales invoices as instructed by client relationship team
  • Preparation and processing of fortnightly wages, including maintenance of employee records
  • Preparation and processing of employer superannuation obligations
  • Processing of payroll data electronically to the ATO under Single Touch Payroll requirements
  • Client debtor management, through the provision of automatic reminders and statements > Preparation of manual journals in Xero
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including the provision of month-end journals
  • Preparation of financial reports from Xero
  • Undertaking of any processing with third-party integrated apps
  • Any other data entry requirements as requested by the client engagement team
