The Role

The candidate will be a skilled Civil Design Engineer working on multiple Australian projects which will range in nature and size predominately across industrial and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities/Skills

• Competent in Civil Design for industrial and commercial building projects including site levels and earthworks design, stormwater design and water quality design to local council requirements.
• Experience with land development, subdivisions, roads, intersections, pavements will also be well regarded.
• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
• Manage projects from preliminary scope through to completion.
• Ensure that work meets quality system and client requirements, as well as complying with Aust standards, codes, government and industry regulation.
• Proven knowledge of key contractual and commercial issues related to project delivery.
• Driven to complete assigned tasks on time, with accuracy and to agreed specifications and budget.
• Ability to plan and set strategic direction for projects.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and also effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications/Experience

• 7 years + experience in civil engineering design,
• Preferably experience with Australian projects and codes.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering.
• Proven ability with Civil 3D design software and knowledge of DRAINS and MUSIC favourable.
